The client’s goal was simple: create a vanity that looked like fine furniture yet worked like a professional workstation. Harris Timberworks designed a furniture-style base with hidden drawers, integrated outlets, and detailed inset doors that give the cabinet a seamless, built-in feel.
Appliance storage was a priority, so we fabricated custom inserts for a blow dryer and curling iron—each equipped with outlets to remain plugged in and ready for use. This thoughtful approach kept the counter clear while preserving the vanity’s timeless aesthetic

We built the vanity using paint-grade combination-core plywood for its stability, flatness, and lighter weight—ideal for precision cabinetry. The solid wood components are maple lumber, a durable, closed-grain species widely recognized as the best wood for painted cabinetry.
